Video People Displaced by Daraa Offensive Face Water Shortages2:15

Trucks delivered water to people displaced to rudimentary camps in al-Rafeed, a town on the Syrian border with Israel in al-Quneitra province, on July 2. In this footage, water trucks, including those from the Syrian Civil Defense, deliver water to people in al-Rafeed, who say there is a severe shortage of water, food and basic supplies. A man described as a refugee from Daraa calls on anyone who can help, including Arabs or international organizations, to supply water for the displaced people. Other footage shows tents built out of basic materials. On July 2, the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs said, an estimated 271,800 individuals have been displaced from the Daraa and Quneitra governorates since June 17.
